Your First Visit
Please arrive approximately 10 minutes early so that you have enough time to complete a New Patient form.
Your dentist will start by reviewing your dental and medical history and performing a comprehensive dental exam. This exam will involve a thorough examination of your gums, teeth, bite, and jaw, an oral cancer screening and any x-rays that may be needed.
Your dentist will develop a long-term custom treatment plan for you based on your history and examination. There will also be time to ask any questions you may have about your dental health and treatment options.
At Bearbrook Dental Centre, we can help you navigate our payment options, so you can choose the one that's best for you and focus on getting the dental care you need and deserve.
- Payment Methods
You are responsible for any co-pays or amounts not covered by insurance. These must be paid at the time of your appointment.
We accept payment by cash, cheque, debit, and credit card. We also accept ODSP (Ontario Disability Support Program) and NIHB (Non-Insured Health Benefits).
- Insurance Details
For your convenience, we will electronically submit your claims directly to your insurance company on your behalf.

Support for Anxious Patients
Fear or anxiety around dental appointments is very common. However, it can prevent many people from getting the dental care they need. If this sounds familiar, not to worry.
At Bearbrook Dental Centre, we have many practices in place, including offering nitrous oxide dental sedation, to help you relax during your appointments.
